Registrations are open for 2018
With the 2017 edition coming to close last Sunday, it’s time to start thinking about next year!
After a successful 2017 edition marked by individual performances, a great atmosphere and a new participation record with 17,400 runners, entries are now open for the 14th edition, taking place on May 5th and 6th, 2018.
Register now and benefit from an early-bird discount. Reduced entry fees also apply for groups and families.
Starting in the spectacular Geneva countryside, surrounded by vineyards and colza fields under the shadow of Mont Blanc, the marathon route takes in the best of both town and county. The closing stretch hugs the shore of Lake Geneva before taking in the city centre and giving runners an inspiring view of the Jet d’Eau. Known as much for its beauty and speed as for the quality of its organisation, the Harmony Geneva Marathon for Unicef is the only race in Switzerland to receive the IAAF Bronze label for the second consecutive year.
Last Sunday, William Yegon of Kenya set a new course record en-route to victory, completing the 42.195km in a blistering 2h10m31s. For the past three years, over 50% of runners beat their personal best time on the flat courses that are a key feature of the race weekend.
